Home / Engineering applications FROM GENERATION TO DISTRIBUTION
Connections across the energy chain.
These application examples illustrate how cable requirements change across an energy project. Photos show third-party infrastructure and do not represent 10000KK delivery references.

01Solar power generation
PV strings connect modules to collection equipment. Cable planning considers DC voltage, current, voltage drop, sunlight exposure and connector compatibility. Ground-mounted and rooftop routes may need different installation protection.

02Step-up and grid connection
Collection circuits, transformers and switchgear form the route to the grid connection point. Provide the single-line diagram, voltage class, fault conditions and termination interfaces when discussing cable requirements.

03Overhead transmission
Overhead conductor selection combines electrical load with mechanical and environmental constraints. Span, terrain, wind, ice and corrosion conditions belong in the design review alongside conductor construction.

04Substation and distribution
Switchgear, station service equipment and downstream loads require coordinated cable schedules. Installation method, fire performance, earthing and the compatibility of terminations should be reviewed before procurement.
